Dungdanji

If we refrain from doing what we should not do and keep what we should keep, we can prevent ourselves from deteriorating.

 Love and Way and Virtue(道德) are synonymous.  Love is a blessing. Loving others, that is, blessing them, allows us to build virtue.  Way and Virtue(道德) refers to the path(道) to building virtue(德).  Since blessings are the path to building virtue, love and morality can be said to be synonymous.
